Work out what to charge for each placement you sell, based on the reach you actually deliver rather than your follower count. Copy the result straight into a listing or a DM.

How it works

Pricing starts from one number: how many people actually see a placement. Everything else adjusts it.

  1. Enter your real reach. Average views or DM opens, not followers. If you take one thing from this page, take that.
  2. Say how engaged that audience is. Interactions as a share of reach. The engagement checker works it out if you are not sure.
  3. Say how specific your niche is. A matched audience converts several times better and buyers pay for that. "General" is the expensive word.
  4. Flag scarcity and proof. Capping how many promos you run, and being able to evidence your figures, both legitimately raise what you can charge.

Each placement then gets a price per thousand people reached, because a DM landing in an inbox someone paid to be in is worth several times a story competing with everything else on the platform. That difference — not audience size — is where most of the spread between a $30 and a $300 placement comes from.

Where these numbers come from

The rates per thousand reflect the ranges in our pricing guide, which is drawn from what creators in the 5,000–50,000 band commonly quote. They are not a market survey, and nobody has published one worth citing. Treat the output as a defensible starting point for a negotiation rather than a valuation — the range column is the part to actually use.

Using it without underselling yourself

Start at the "ask for" column rather than the bottom of the range. Buyers expect a number, not an auction, and a seller who opens low has nowhere to go. Drop toward the low end for a repeat buyer or a quiet week; hold the top for exclusivity, short notice, or a niche the buyer cannot get elsewhere.

Publish whatever you land on. Listings without prices get fewer enquiries, not more — "DM for rates" reads as expensive, and buyers move on rather than ask.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I charge for OnlyFans promo?

Price on reach rather than followers. A rough starting point is $9–$15 per thousand people reached for a story or feed post, and $38–$50 for a wall post or DM blast where intent is much higher. Adjust up for an engaged audience, a specific niche, and scarcity.

Should I price on followers or reach?

Reach. Followers are the number sellers quote because it flatters them, but a buyer is paying for the people who actually see the placement. Pricing on reach also makes your figure defensible when a buyer asks you to justify it.

Am I charging too little?

If you have never had a buyer push back on price, almost certainly. Sellers who open low have no room to negotiate and attract buyers shopping on price rather than fit — who are also the ones most likely to dispute afterwards.

Should I publish my rates publicly?

Yes. Kits and listings without prices get fewer enquiries. If your price genuinely varies, publish the starting price and say plainly what moves it.
